Just as sweet Eliot is holding on so tightly and looking up, you two keep holding on to your faith and each other. Thanks for the picture. I'll be praying for the Cox family and for you. Love and prayers, Mrs. Olivia

Matt and Ginny,

I hadn't read your blog in quite a while. My worst fears came true when I read the first line that jumped from the page. I am truly sorry for the your loss but am also filled with joy and thankfulness for Eliot and the legacy his 98 days left. My face is wet with tears for two friends I haven't seen in a long time and a child I never met. It proves to me the Lord doesn't need introductions or reunions to accomplish what he wills. You are two of the luckiest people that I know right now. You were given a snowflake long enough to admire and cherish it's beauty, and though it eventually melted, the uniqueness of it's design left an everlasting impression on MANY people. I'm excited to see the completed work in both of you. Thank you for letting me get to know Eliot. It was a short-lived, but wonderful pleasure.

Hi Ginny (and Matt)-
I just came across your blog and wanted to let you know how close to my heart I have held you in the last year. You three sound so courageous, brave, and loving. All my love from Seattle

Thank you so much for the picture of Eliot. I didn't realize how badly I needed that until I saw it and smiled, truly smiled. I miss him, too.

I can't thank you enough for the sweet picture of Eliot. Just as you have missed posting pictures of him, I (and I am sure many others) have missed seeing pictures of him.

I continue to learn from and be challenged by Eliot, a child I knew only through these very posts. I,too, although I am ashamed to admit it, have a bible that is but only a decoration on the table beside my bed. It wasn't until the other day, when I was thinking about you guys and Eliot and all of the verses that have been posted here throughout the months, that I picked up my bible that I have had since the age of 5, dusted it off, and opened it. I indulged in the scriptures of my bible for hours...and have ever since. I studied the verses I was reading for the first time in a long time, not just setting aside a few seconds to speed read through a few lines before turning out the light. Now, instead of knowing my bible will be sitting on that table, I am looking for it all over my house.

Ginny, the Eliot necklace is beautiful. I ordered one just last week. I can't wait to get it.

Thanks again for continuing to post as we continue learn and receive blessings from Eliot's time here. I continue to pray for you guys.

Matt & Ginny. You are such beautiful people. Thank you for sharing your story and though the blogs started out only to keep friends & family "posted" ~ you have helped so many. Please continue to keep posting pictures. The world has fallen in love & we can't wait to meet Eliot's new baby brother/sister. Kara Zietz
