I love this cowboy outfit and adore the mullet he is growing! Still a blessing to all who reads and I pray for Eliot and parents daily! Stay strong - you are God's true wonder!

The NICU roundup are so fun! I am so glad that your family was able to experience one, and it sounds like it was a great one!! Ours was a Dr. Suess theme. I am sure everyone's jaw about hit the floor when you walked in =)

I pray that God wraps his hands and angels wings around you through the rougest of times!! I can tell you are weary and tired and we all so appreciate your honesty and ability to share your journey. May the weather be perfect and may Eliot have some really great days this next week.

Can I say once again, you are both amazing people who are on a journey you did not ask for! You are traveling it like true warriors =)

Much prayer still coming....

Oh my goodness, this is by far the cutest picture i have ever seen. And i have a son. Where did you get the cute outfit? My thoughts and prayers are with you and thank you so much for giving me another perspective to enjoy my beautiful son everyday. You may not feel strong but you are and I know its with the Lords help. Again, you guys are in my prayers, take care.

This definitely looks like an outfit Moo and Geepa would have purchased for you! You know we, as grandparents, have to excel at being the best possible. Honestly, I love the G & E picture. The adoration and love just pour out of the photo, truly a mother's love. I'm sure both excitment and fear are battling within you these days so my prayer is for God's perfect peace that surpasses all understanding! Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen your hearts today. Love to G, M and E.

WHAT A DOLL!!! I LOVE the outfit! I am so glad that Ginny got to experience the joy of showing Eliot off at the NICU roundup. Another God moment...
A friend of mine whose husband recently died of cancer said that her most touching moment with him was when he told her that "If I die today, I have no regrets, and I want you to know that". I know that if and when that day comes that you have to say goodbye to Eliot, if he could convey words to you, he would say the same thing...and he would want you to know that.
Very few people in life get to experience the intense love and joy and fun and intimacy in their lives that you've had in Eliot's short time here on earth. You were chosen to be these special parents and you're doing it with grace and gusto. We're all in awe of you--and we want you to know that.
Much love, Kim Burton-Norman

My first time to post...

My words are so inadequate in comparison to how BIG God is/has been for my favorite 3 MONTH OLD and to how GREAT my amazing friend, Matt's, words/insights have been for us all.

Now...for the reason I have been driven to post and break my "post silence"...I wish it was something really meaningful or spiritual (although I don't really believe in the separation) but...DO YOU SEE THAT FREAKIN' COWBOY GET-UP!?!?!!! GINNY MADE THAT! That's right folks, she made it. Ginny made that outfit.

So, besides the fact that I am thankful to God (and to the Mooneys) that He has continued to show us all that He is BIG AND GOOD through our Lil' E-Bob, even when His ways do not fit our minds...The reason I am posting is because I was fired up, err I mean inspired, by the other posts about the outfit that GINNY MADE ... So, what I want to say on my post is really just this one thing...the rest is the background...and, there is so much that goes into this one statement, but what I really want to say is... that from changing tubes, to doing therapy, to taking shifts, to knowing what matters in life and living it, to praying for their son, to daily birthday parties, to being real, to loving their son, to going to the nurse-neighbors house at 3am, to grilling the medical help with questions, to being so thankful and genuine to God and to others, to MAKING THE COWBOY OUTFIT WE ALL ARE AMAZED BY (Gin)...

MY FRIENDS ARE KICK-ASS PARENTS!

Why are we so surprised with how cool Lil E is....He comes from the greatest stock imaginable....And, a BIG AND GOOD GOD.

You guys are amazing Mooney Fam!!!

As a friend of the Cox family I was led to your journey some time back and find so much inspiration from following both families. The prayers continue for the Cox family and the Mooneys. Roll Tide from the Rice's in Wedowee, AL!!

Wow, I don't know about you, but your friend Josh got me all pumped up! Ginny, that outfit is a work of art! You could have a little business on ebay there. ;)
Oh that first picture is the definition of pure love. It's just beautiful. And Eliot, I don't need to know you to love you. Praying daily for strength and miracles for all three of you. HUGS. :)
