We have returned from our Dallas trip. We had a great time with friends and got to go to a release party for "99 balloons".
For those of you who want to see the movie, it is available for viewing and purchase at ignitermedia. It is a movie, so you will want to watch it somewhere that has a faster internet connection. Once you go to the site, click on "igniter videos". Look for Eliot's feet- the video is entitled "99 balloons". You can also e-mail me (matthewlyle@yahoo.com) and I will send you a dvd. I should have those in hand soon after Easter.
For those of you who have watched the movie, and desire to learn more about Eliot, we are glad you're here. I would recommend going back in the archives located on the left-side of the screen.
We are extremely pleased with the video and are grateful for any medium by which to tell the story of quite a kid.

Matt & Ginny-
You video was amazing. As someone who visited your site every wednesday that Eliot was alive (and still continute to do so) the video really touched my heart. I cried through the whole thing....knowing the ending. Many people would watch the movie with sadness, but i watched the movie and rejoiced his life, not his death. You were both so blessed to have little Eliot in your life. You will always be in my prayers. Thank you for sharing your little boy with us, we are all better people for knowing him. Take care guys.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I was touched as I watched the video, just as I have been every Wednesday when I read your blog.
Thank you again for sharing his life with people you have never met.
I watched your video, and it is amazing. Thanks you for charing your little boys life with us. Your video is very powerful.
The video was fantastic and such a great way to share the gift of Eliot's life. Thank you for sharing it with us.
The video is amazing -- I just loved it and cried my way through the whole 6 minutes!
I have been visiting your site for several months now -- I am a neighbor who lives in Fayetteville!
All my best,
Erin Cohne
The video is a wonderful tool to minister to those who do not know the power and wonder of God's love and grace. I love Eliot even though I never saw him or held him and am thankful I got to know the little man! God bless you both.
Eliot's story has always been a blessing to me, but seeing him in the video today leaves me wordless. Thanks, Matt and Ginny, for sharing your son.
I've been anticipating Eliot's video ever since you mentioned putting it together.
Nothing prepared me for the poignant way it was crafted. I walked back through what you both have so fearlessly shared with all of us who grew to love Eliot and you both in the process.
99 days, so short a time, so huge an impact.
May God bless you, Matt and Ginny, and may He use this DVD to minister to countless numbers of people around the world. It touched my heart and brought me to tears once again on your behalf.
Thank you for sharing sweet Eliot and his precious life with us.
I am so totally speechless. This video is amazing. Would you mind if I linked to it on our blog? I feel like Eliot's testimony needs to be shouted from the rooftops- every life deserves a chance and every life is precious to God. Thank you for sharing Eliot.
Matt and ginny, Thank you for the powerful and poignant story of Eliot, one so small, and the One whose strength carries us all- Your loving, caring ways were evident in every picture- Oh, what a blessed little boy to have had parents who seized every moment as a gift- That has been your gift to me- An everpresent reminder that "This is the day the Lord has made. I WILL rejoice and be glad in it".Thank you so much for sharing- Love and prayers, Mrs. Olivia

I am praising God for sending Elliot to you. From this quick look into your life I can see your love for him and the impact Eliot made on the world!
Thank you for sharing! May the Lord bless you!
Matt and Ginny,
Thank you again for sharing your sweet blessing, Eliot. He has touched my life. The video left me speechless. So precious!
Absolutely amazing. When I look up at the stars tonight I will see an extra bright star for Eliot. He is an angel watching out for you.
I was blessed to be a reader during the days of Eliot's precious life. I loved the video. What an incredible tribute to an amazing family. God bless!
I just watched the video and read all the archives. Thank you so much for sharing. You have no idea how much this means right now...
I have to go blog about your son. Thank You Lord for sharing this miracle with these parents, and for them sharing it with the world.
I came to your blog via another one I read. Thank you for sharing the story of your sweet baby boy! I love seeing how you were able to praise and glorify God in the midst of it all. We lost a baby last year too, we never got to meet her while she was living but will always remember her. Again thank you for sharing your story. Maybe our babies are playing together in heaven!
Thank you so much for sharing. I just feel really blessed by this film. What a blessing you are a what a blessing Eliot is and was. This film will bless so many.
Thank you for sharing your story.
Wow- your video and your message are both so powerful. Thank you for sharing.
I watched your video with both joy and a heavy heart.
You see, my daughter Isshah, was born on Feb 24, 2004. We found out at 32 weeks gestation that she too had Trisomy 18.
There are times in one's life when you can do NOTHING but depend on God and His wonderous grace. NOTHING! What a gift that is and continues to be.
God gave us 2 days with her. As much as I would like to say our journey was "pain free", it was not. God used that time, and continues to do so, to strengthen me. That is not always easy, you know. But through it all, I knew that God was right there with me. And that good would come from our daughter's death. Now I know without a doubt, that God blessed us from the time of her diagnosis to her death at 2 days old. God's hand was so evident that NO ONE, even the most hardened critic could deny.
We continued with our plans for a home birth and had our precious Isshah with us all the time. Government agencies even co-operated and respected our wishes to have her with us at home. That is no easy task. And, a local funeral home even cremated her at no cost. These are just a few of the examples of God's providence. But THE most wonderful thing is that people in our lives got to see that we didn't fall apart. We had a peace that God was in control and orchestrating the entire situation.
I was just speaking to a mom in my son's class about Isshah and she was so blessed to hear me speak about Isshah going home to the Father. This lady was born and bred Catholic with no definite view of eternity. We spoke about heaven and my little blessing. I do hope God has planted a seed in her. I'd like to have an opportunity to speak to her more.
These are just a few of the situations where I know Isshah did not die in vain.
Thank you for sharing your boy with us.
thank you
What a beautiful way to start my day. Sweet Eliot's face screams of God's goodness in every picture. Thank you for sharing your son. May God continue to hold you close.
I'm completely speechless to even put into words how your love for Eliot touched my heart (and life,..and faith). I feel it but I cannot find the words to describe it to you both.
So I'll simply say you are a testimony to the living God. Thank you for impacting me so greatly.
Blessings,
~Toni~
Matt and Ginny,
I linked to your blog through the Mitchells and have followed Eliot's story with some sadness but mostly with wonder and awe -- your ability, as given by God, to love this precious little boy with such tenderness and then to share that love with everyone through this blog just amazes. Like so many others I continue to check in every Wednesday to follow your insights as you continue to walk through the valleys and ascend the mountains. The video is perfect -- an encapsulation of those 99 days into 6 minutes that provides the rest of the world with more than a glimpse of God's grace and goodness. Please, continue to write and consider, as many have suggested, a way to spread your message even further in print. The impact of Eliot's story is strong and your ability to convey it is a gift that is having eternal impact. I walk away every time I visit 99 balloons feeling that God is glorified.
I just watched the beautiful video. What a tribute to God and to your precious child, Eliot.

hey matt and ginny. i have kept up with you guys and what God did/is doing/will do in your life since sweet Eliot got here. i especially loved all of the pictures. what incredible parents he has. but the movie -- kudos to whoever put it together. but to the Lord -- for putting the WHOLE THING together. i can't imagine how hard it is to be so vulnerable. but i am one of MANY who is so incredibly blessed for your honesty in everything.
Profoundly moving. Life-changing. Thank you. Praise God for Eliot.
Absolutely beautiful. I got to watch the video this morning before leaving for school, and it remained with me all day. Eliot's life was so big, and the lessons that are going to spread from his time here and his everlasting time in our real home are in their first stages. I can't wait to see what the Lord will do in your lives. You are such faithful followers of the Truth. Thank you for ALWAYS challenging and inspiring me.
Matt and Ginny,
We love you ! There is not a dry eye here in our home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story on Elliot . You are very special . I have been visiting your site and video.
Love and Hugs,
Angel
Thank you so much for sharing your precious video. It was beautiful. Eliot was blessed to have two such special parents. What a wonderful reunion you will have with him in heaven!
Matt & Ginny,
I just stumbled upon 99 Balloons last night on the Ignitermedia website. What an incredible story of courage and love. Thank you for sharing Eliot with all of us through his story and his journey.
I had breakfast with my best friend this morning and asked her if she knew you - she's from Arkansas - home on vacation. She said YES! Her name is Kerrie Archer - she attends Fellowhship with you all. It certainly made this a smaller world! Know that you are an encouragement to those you don't even know!!
Matt,
Thank you for the film and for sharing your family's story. Through you, Ginny, and Eliot, God has and is revealing himself, and though I'm stubbern to the point of blindness to certain things, no matter how tight I shut my eyes, I see Him.
I just had a chance to see your 99 balloons video for the first time this afternoon. Such a moving documentation of the joys and heartache of your brief season with Eliot! Thank you for sharing, for sharing your reality with us. I am so sorry for your loss.

Words cannot express how much your lives have touched my heart. My best friend's infant has been diagnosed with Krabbe's Disease. Eliot's video has really helped me to look at this time we all have together with such a different prospective. I cannot thank you enough for that.
I have just watched this video published at OPRAH.....This video really touched me and give me a lesson to appreciated someone....This video also told me that If a baby could work hard to keep alive....why we, the teens person don't do the same things. I wanted to cry when I saw this Video. Thanks for the Lesson.
